[edit] Other computers/networks
Somewhere there ought to be a section to detail how to configure interactions with other computers including other operating systems, especially across a local network, such as:
- File sharing/serving
- NFS - Is this available out of the box, or just configuration, or does it need to be installed also?
- Samba - Needs to be installed from FreeBSD ports, and configured seperately.
- Remote desktop
- X - Possible but requires seperate additional configuration.
- Windows/MS equivalent.
- Media streaming
- VLC - Possibly would work after installing on both machines?
