There may be other unforeseen breakage primarily in the handbook portion of the wiki.
The Table Of Contents section of each "PC-BSD® Users Handbook" page may be the best workaround.

The Mount Tray application is used to facilitate the mounting and unmounting of USB storage devices. It is included in Control Panel and as an icon in the system tray, meaning that in can be used within any window manager, even those that do not provide a USB mounting utility. It can also be started by typing pc-mounttray &.
If you connect a USB drive, a pop-up message will indicate that a new device has been detected. Right-click the Mount Tray icon to see a screen similar to Figure 8.9a.

The Mount Tray uses the built-in de-info script to determine the current window manager. If that window manager provides a file manager, it will use it by default. If it can not find a default file manager, Mount Tray will provide an "open with" dialogue so that you can select the utility to use to browse the contents of the USB device.
