This utility allows for changes to various configuration settings related to. Many of the same configurations can be done via right-click within an active flash object in a web browser.
To access the utility shown in Figure 8.18a, use Control Panel → Adobe Flash Player preferences or open an xterm and type flash-player-properties.
The options available in each tab and when to use them are described at the Adobe website:

- controls how websites can use your computer’s camera and microphone.
