FYI: this desktop is currently non-functional in 20120605 snapshot which means it cannot be tested or screenshot images uploaded for this page. It is also depreciated with an expire date of 2012-07-20 due to API no longer supported. Étoilé is a modular, light-weight desktop environment designed to allow users to create their own workflow by reshaping or recombining the provided applications.
Figure 6.7a shows a screenshot of Étoilé running on PC-BSD 9.1.
